Laurie was so friendly and the love and passion he has for his birds is infectious. My husband and I had an amazing time! We learnt so much about each of the birds and getting to not only handle them but fly 3 was the icing on the cake. I never thought I'd be able to say I've had a vulture fly towards me and land on my arm but it's something that I will never forget. Laurie's knowledge combined with his passion, comes through when explains the each and every bird, from the breeds hunting capabilities to their physiology, a great way to learn about these amazing birds. A great way to get up close and personal with a selection of magnificent birds of prey, you not only get to hold them, but also the opportunity for them to fly and land on your arm. We got to handle and fly a range of birds of prey and learnt so much about them from Laurie who is incredibly knowledgeable. Each bird has a clear personality and I loved stroking Dennis, the Spectacled owl’s beak and whiskers. I was there as her photographer while she had the experience. I got photos and videos of her holding and flying the birds. She absolutely loved it. The smile on her face said it all. It is a great gift to give yourself or anyone who likes to be close to these beautiful birds.
