We received the VIP experience as an Anniversary present and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Laurie is obviously super passionate and knowledgable and it was fascinating to learn about the birds as well as get up close to them. The set up is very simple, just a field and the birds, no big commercial setting with gift shop and coffee shop etc Laurie just focuses on what is important and he does it brilliantly! Thank you!!Posted onVerified A day to remember Saturday 25th April 2026 will be a day I remember for the rest of my life. Meeting Laurie and the raptors was a long time coming and well worth the wait! Laurie is so passionate and knowledgable, he made the whole experience pure joy for me. His love for birds of prey is apparent in the facts he divulges and in the superb condition of his birds. I met a Spectacled Owl, a Caracara, a Male Kestrel, a White Faced Owl, a Hooded Vulture, a Turkey Vulture and a Peregrine Falcon. I flew the Kestrel the Spectacled Owl and the Hooded Vulture. I am still reeling from the experience. It was a genuine pleasure to have met Laurie and his birds. So knowledgeable and it was amazing to get so up close to the birds, as well as hold and fly them.Posted onVerified A wonderful falconry experience set in beautiful surroundings I bought the Falconry experience for my Dad's 81st birthday - it was fantastic. Laurie's knowledge, experience and lifelong passion was evident as was his love for each of the birds and how he cares for them. He has so much knowledge and I'm sure we only just scratched the surface - we drove away giving each other a test on how much we could remember! But it wasn't just knowledge we gained. Spending time in nature (the surrounding are beautiful and peaceful), with these beautiful birds was really special, each with their own personality and beauty. We each got to fly three birds, a kestrel, an owl and a vulture. It was just my Dad, myself with Laurie and the birds. Great as a gift or for families. Laurie introduced us to his amazing happy birds, explaining how they live, and what they need in an accessible chatty way. We were able to get close to the birds on the glove and fly some of them too. I really loved it. Laurie's birds are very well cared for, and a joy to handle. Thank you Laurie for a lovely morning. We did the VIP experience for two and Laurie was excellent from emailing to arrange (and then very accommodating and understanding when we needed to re-arrange due to an unexpected surgical procedure). We arrived on site and from the get-go, Laurie was warm, welcoming, friendly and so knowledgeable about his passion. The birds were amazing and stunning. Handling and getting to feed the birds and fly them was unreal. Each bird had a unique personality that Laurie made sure to let you know about before handling them so it put me at ease (always been a bit scared of large birds) all in all it was brilliant. A great couple of hours in a beautiful field learning and interacting with some beautiful creatures. We were fortunate to have a warm sunshiny day so be sure to book when weather is good! He is so knowledgeable and passionate and clearly loves and cares for his birds so well. A fantastic range of the most beautiful birds to hold and then we flew 3 of them each - Kestrel, Spectacled Owl and Hooded Vulture. Clear instructions and information at all times plus easy and free parking. I would recommend this experience to anybody with the slightest interest in birds or of an inquisitive nature.
