I had booked this for my partners Christmas present and from start to finish Laurie was helpful, professional and clearly passionate about the birds in his care. You meet a variety of birds ranging from owls to vultures to kestrels. The welfare of the birds always comes first which is clear and good to see. You are able to meet and greet the birds, hold them while Laurie reveals all their ways of workings. They each have a personality which is wonderful to see. You then get to fly some of the birds which was very exciting. Overall a very interesting and different activity to do on a weekend and hosted by Laurie who ensures safety, educates brilliantly and shows the best of the birds. We got to handle and fly a wide range of birds. Laurie is so knowledgeable and answers all your questions with great clarity. I felt comfortable and at ease through the whole experience and feel accomplished that we have handled and held some of these birds. Dennis was my favourite. Myself, husband and kids (7 and 11) were greeted warmly by the wonderful Laurie who introduced us to five incredible feathered friends. We had a wonderful falconry experience this morning, we were all quite moved by it. The birds are incredible creatures with so much personality and it was lovely to see the beautiful relationship Laurie the owner has with them all! We got to meet and hold and fly 5 birds, 2 owls, a kestrel, and 2 vultures. From start to finish, it was both enjoyable and incredibly informative. The handler was passionate, knowledgeable and clearly dedicated to the welfare of the birds. We were introduced to a variety of birds of prey, including vultures, falcons and owls, and learned about their unique characteristics, natural behaviours and hunting techniques. It was fascinating to discover the differences between the species and hear the stories behind each bird. One of the highlights was seeing these magnificent birds up close and watching them in flight. Their speed, agility and beauty were truly impressive. The opportunity to interact with the birds and ask questions made the experience feel very personal and engaging. The session struck the perfect balance between education and entertainment. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or simply looking for something a little different to do, I would highly recommend it. My brother and I came away with a much greater appreciation for these remarkable birds and some wonderful memories to share.
