Strange har studeret musik i Odense, under den anerkendte jazzsaxofonist Hans Ulrik, og i New York, under stjernesaxofonisten Chris Cheek, og hendes dybe og soulfulde tenorlyd har vundet anerkendelse i bde ind og udland.
