The dots that appear in her work are created from household glue and the warm glow that emanates from her prints comes from the application of watercolour to the paper as a monoprint before the detailed collagraph is printed as a separate layer on top

Northumbria, 2017: ‘Spanish City’ funfair in fog, Whitley Bay [leisure, popular culture] print Unless you choose click andThis print is in four layers on Somerset Satin White paper, and is one of a set of prints depicting 21st century Northumbria, inspired by hand coloured photographs in the 1898 book Japan. This temporary funfair was named after the original Spanish City on the other side of the road. The permanent funfair had been part of the entertainment for nearly a century. Dire Straits mentioned Spanish City in their song Tunnel of Love. Edition of 9. Medium
