The blade is crafted from high quality 1065 carbon steel with a hardness of 4852 HRC. The gladius is supplied complete with a scabbard. The scabbard is constructed from wood and leather and features brass fittings. A belt loop is fitted to the scabbard, permitting it to be worn across the shoulder.
